where I live: lisbon roofs

translate to English

I love Lisbon, the city where I live.
Photography is one of my favourite hobbys (unfortunately not one of my best skills… but I'm trying to improve!), and so  it was impossible to resist to Francesca's invitation.
The theme this friday is about "roofs".
The weather conditions didn't help much, and this was the best I could do.The last picture is the old mosaic panel in "Miradouro da Sra do Monte", where I took the photos.
I tried to photograph the same view but it wasn't possible because, probably, some of the buildings were already demolished.

  1. Lisbon is a city that captured me and surprised me with its beauty - I loved it, and had a wonderful time touring it. It's great to be able to see it again, in your photos, and in that tiled mosaic of tiled buildings!
Thanks for playing along today Paula!

  3. I love buildings that have windows jutting out from the rooftops---conjures up images of quirky rooms with mysteries and comfort both abiding there.
Lovly view. Thanks for sharing. I've never been to Lisbon and doubt I'll ever get there, so it's wonderful to see a photo by someone who loves the place. I think our appreciation or lack of a place often shows in our photos.
